"Bear History"

I guess I started liking the bigger, stockier, furrier, bearded men when I was 15. It took me another 5 years till I knew there was a group that I fit into. Growing up around Los Angeles, it was difficult to really "find" who I was. Fortunatley I met some great people who helped me become the person I am today.

Contrary to popular belief, I don't believe that being gay has anything to do with genetics. I don't see anyone as being "Born Gay." I use my own upbringing as an example. It would take too long for me to explain the specifics. Just next time the subject comes up, ask yourself: "What environmental situations could have influenced my being gay."

"What I look for in Bears"

First of all, I believe a Bear has to have a beard. Now I know that some bears out there can't have a beard either for their occupation or just that they can't grow one, but that is what I look for. I love a bear with a young face, stocky build, and short hair. My other favorites include more than just looks. A great sense of humor and a want for learning and understanding are great qualities that I admire. If you fit any of these categories, I'd love to hear from ya!
